Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Faith Journey. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. About Faith Journey
Faith Journey is a daily Bible study mobile application ("the App") developed and operated by Faith Journey ("we", "us", or "our"), based in North Carolina, United States. The App provides daily Bible verses, devotionals, a personal reflection journal, and access to the full Bible text.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the App and any related services. By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age of digital consent in your country) and agree to these Terms in full.
2. Your Account
To use the App, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password secure and confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- Providing accurate and current information when registering
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms, without notice or liability.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute the App's content, devotionals, or data without written permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to it
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our express written consent
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
4. User-Generated Content
The App allows you to create personal reflections and journal entries ("User Content"). All User Content is strictly private and is not visible to or shared with other users of the App. You retain full ownership of your User Content. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
We do not access, read, or use your User Content for any purpose other than delivering the service. We do not share your User Content with third parties.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms.
5. Intellectual Property
All content provided by Faith Journey, including but not limited to devotionals, design, graphics, and code, is the property of Faith Journey and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.
Bible text used in the App is sourced from publicly licensed translations:

6. In-App Purchases and Donations
Faith Journey is free to use. All core features are and will remain free of charge. The App may offer optional in-app purchases or donations to support development.
Any purchases made through the App are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) and are subject to their respective payment terms. If you purchase a recurring subscription, it will automatically renew unless canceled through your device's account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. All sales are final unless otherwise required by law. We do not process payments directly and do not store payment information.
Donations are voluntary and do not entitle you to any additional features, rights, or priority support beyond what is described at the time of purchase.
7. Availability and Service Changes
We strive to keep Faith Journey available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service, nor for any failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to server outages, third-party infrastructure failures, or acts of God.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. Certain content, including daily devotionals, may be generated, structured, or translated with the assistance of artificial intelligence technologies. The devotional and Bible content in the App is provided for spiritual encouragement and educational purposes only. It does not constitute professional religious, legal, medical, or psychological advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAITH JOURNEY AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $10 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Faith Journey and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our practices.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through the Profile tab in the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately and your account data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
13. Governing Law and Severability
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in North Carolina.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, we each waive any right to a jury trial.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
15. App Store and Google Play Provisions
If you download the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you acknowledge and agree that these Terms are solely between you and Faith Journey, not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Faith Journey, not Apple or Google, is solely responsible for the App and its content. Apple and Google have no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple and Google will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.
You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
